BISHOP OF OZUBULU,DEATH IN CHURCH,DRUGS AND SOUTH AFRICAN CONNECTION

 A couple of weeks ago,the world was jolted by the gangster style killing of 13 worshippers at the Saint Philip's Church ,Amukwa ,Ozubulu.At the centre of the controversy surrounding the crime was one High Chief Aloysius Ikegwuonu alias Ebubechukwuzo.On the very day the killings took place,The Anambra State Governor and the Commissioner of Police of the State visited the scene of crime where the Governor emphatically pronounced that the crime was committed by some folks from the town who had misunderstandings over some business transactions in South Africa.The Police was alleged to have been of the same view.
  Now tongues are wagging. The said Bishop has been in
Ozubulu for 2 good weeks and his arrest had not been effected.The social media was awash with innuendos and conjectures linking the said Bishop with drug running and mafia style executions in South Africa.Some others alleged that terrorist herdsmen from God knows where were responsible. Bishop has granted series of interviews from his home in Ozubulu and moves around as a free man.People are raising eyebrows. It would be interesting to take a peep into the interim or final police report on the matter.
We demand that the Governor must as the Chief Security Officer of Anambra State come out clean and hold a press conference stating in clear details the conclusive result of the investigation. He must bear in mind that he will be going to the polls in November to ask the people to retain him for another term.
We on this platform are watching closely.We also hope that nobody is hiding the truth from the people. What language did the hit men speak while carrying out the executions.Were they elements from some notorious itinerant killers?Does the killing have a religious undertone?Is there a grand design to cow the people in Anambra and by extension the people of the zone?These questions and more must be answered and fast too in order to lay this matter to rest.We shall have an update soon on the same matter.
