THE BEGINNING OR THE END FOR BIAFRA OR NIGERIA?

A PEEP INTO THE FUTURE OF A NATION.

Nigerians did not observe the solar eclipse of last Sunday.The CNN
gave the world a running commentary of the event from its commencement
in Oregon to its finale in Southern Carolina.Even as Nigeria did not observe
the eclipse,another eclipse that will crisscross Nigeria and of a different hue
is in the making.It is a political eclipse of free speech as seen by many democrats in
Nigeria.It may or may not be as bad as the turn of events portray.Check this out.
     From henceforth in Nigeria the following areas are sacred and are no go areas.

1. Call for Self Determination by any Persons or Groups.
2.Any speech adjudged by the authorities to be a hate speech.
3.Any article or post on Social Media that are offensive to Government.
4.Any Group that decides to wear uniforms as a quasi security outfit.

These are some of the areas covered and the idea has been muted to ban the
explosive use of the Social Media in the country.
      Tongues are wagging and people are asking when this eclipse would pass
the Nigerian Space into the vacous space of the Cosmos that is infinite.
Clamp downs like this tend to clog the wheel that drives democratic tenets.
Let all ideas be allowed to flow freely in cyberspace.Suppresing freedom of
expression may very well radicalize many groups and affect the management
of the attendant volatile security issues that may surface.
   Let all opinions flow minus hate speech and let the government distill them
and use the filtered genuine expressions of the people to set agendas for good
governance,Do not kill free speech in Nigeria.Contrary views are welcome.
